Bodrum Beach is the most central and accessible stretch of coastline in the resort town, curving along the eastern bay of the Bodrum peninsula with views across the sparkling Aegean toward the Greek island of Kos. Backed by the vibrant marina promenade, cafés, and restaurants, the beach sits in the shadow of the magnificent Bodrum Castle, making it one of the most scenically situated town beaches on the Turkish Aegean coast.
Tips
Arrive early in the morning to secure a good spot, as the beach gets busy during peak summer months from June through August. The western end of the beach closer to the castle offers the most picturesque setting and the best views across the bay. The promenade running alongside the beach is perfect for an evening stroll as the sun sets over the Aegean. Water sports equipment and sun loungers are available for hire along the beach, and the surrounding marina area offers an excellent selection of restaurants and bars for a meal or drink after a day by the water.
