1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern the use of the website stadtly.com("Stadtly"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Note: This template is a starting point. Before going live the terms should be reviewed by a lawyer specialized in e-commerce/consumer law.

2. Service description

Stadtly is a free online travel planner. Users can discover attractions, hotels and tours, and create, save and share their own trip plans. The information provided is for inspiration and planning. Stadtly is neither a tour operator nor a travel agent.

3. User accounts

  • A valid email address is required to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the security of your credentials.
  • Accounts may not be shared with third parties.
  • You are responsible for all activities carried out through your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time by contacting us.

4. Acceptable use

When using the service you agree to:

  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Respect the rights of other users.
  • Not post misleading, harmful or unlawful content.
  • Not use the site to distribute malware or exploit security vulnerabilities.
  • Not place excessive load on the service through automated requests (scraping, bots, etc.).

5. Content and intellectual property

All design, text, image and software content on the site is protected by copyright and owned by Stadtly or used under license. Copying, distributing or modifying the content without permission is prohibited.

Trip plans created by users remain the property of the respective user. However, publicly shared plans can be viewed by other users.

6. Affiliate and third-party links

Our site contains links to third parties (e.g. hotel bookings, tours). Some are affiliate links from which we may receive a commission when a contract is concluded — there is no extra cost to you. Stadtly is not responsible for the content or terms of linked third-party sites; the respective provider's terms apply.

7. Limitation of liability

Content is created to the best of our knowledge but provided without warranty as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Please verify important travel information (e.g. opening hours, prices, visas) from independent sources before traveling. To the extent permitted by law, liability for damages arising from the use of this content is excluded. Liability for intent and gross negligence and damages from injury to life, body or health remains unaffected.

8. Availability and changes

Stadtly reserves the right to change, restrict or discontinue features at any time without prior notice. Uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Changes to these terms will be published on this page.

9. Privacy

Information about the processing of your personal data can be found in our Privacy Policy. By using the site you agree to the processing described there.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive the consumer of mandatory protection of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.

11. Dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that comes closest to the economic purpose of the original.
