The Bodrum Windmills are one of the most recognisable and photographed landmarks on the peninsula, a row of traditional stone windmills standing in a line along the ridge between Bodrum town and Gümbet bay. Dating back to the 18th century, the windmills were used to grind grain for the local population and have become an enduring symbol of Bodrum, offering breathtaking panoramic views across both bays and the Aegean toward the Greek islands on the horizon.
