About this place

Miniaturk is one of Istanbul's most unique and entertaining open-air attractions, a vast miniature park stretching along the western shore of the Golden Horn in Sütlüce. Opened in 2003, it brings together over 100 meticulously crafted scale models of Turkey's most significant historical, cultural, and architectural landmarks, from Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace to the ruins of Ephesus and the landscapes of Cappadocia, all set within beautifully landscaped gardens.

Tips

Visit in the morning when the park opens for the most comfortable and uncrowded experience, particularly during the hot summer months when the open-air setting can get warm by midday. The park is an excellent and engaging destination for families with children, combining education and entertainment in a beautifully presented outdoor setting. Allow at least two hours to explore all 100 models at a comfortable pace and pick up a map at the entrance to navigate the extensive grounds. Miniaturk is located on the Golden Horn in Sütlüce, easily reached by taxi from Taksim or Beyoğlu, and pairs naturally with a visit to the nearby Rahmi Koç Museum for a full day of exploring this lesser-visited but rewarding stretch of the Golden Horn.
